This study was published on Aug. 16 and comes from a team of researchers from Norway and the University of Wisconsin.
The purpose of this study is their concern that cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) flow velocities and pressures in the nonresting state have not been adequately characterized. They used computer simulations to study CSF dynamics during increased heart rates in the normal and Chiari I subarachnoid space.
