SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The International Chiari Association (ICA) is celebrating its seventh birthday today.

"We want to thank everyone for their support," said ICA Founder/President Pete Dal Bello. "We really appreciate it."

The all-volunteer nonprofit organization was founded by Dal Bello on April 8, 2011, with the assistance of Robert Mislang and Jason Floyd. Since the birthday landed on a Sunday, the ICA is celebrating today.

ICA Mascot Courage the Bear picked up the balloons. Unfortunately, he can't count so more than seven balloons were purchased.

This is an important call out to fellow Chiarians and those that care about them. The ICA's current Founder/President is on indefinite medical leave, as well as on leave for bereavement. We are looking for a compassionate, capable, motivated, volunteer CEO to step in and lead the 501(c)(3) into the future. Applicants can be from any location in the U.S., but California residency is a plus.
