My boyfriend says: part of my skull.. LOL ;) but seriously i've lost feeling in feet/hands, which could be from nerve damage. I'm also forced to be less active. I also have this feeling when your stomach drops like you are on a roller coaster, except its like my head drops. that's the best way I can explain it.
My 12 yr. old son says Chiari has taken away his right to some of his favorite things to do such as riding roller coasters and sparring in Karate. He feels Chiari sets him apart from other boys his age; Chiari forces him to not be as active as he once was.
Chiari has taken away from me the ability to feel hot/cold from my chest to my feet. It has taken away the ability to walk normally without thinking I'm going to fall. One thing it has not taken away, is the confidence that one day there will be more answers than there are questions about Chiari!
